Jungle Rot-Slaughter the Weak/Since Remembered-Coming Alive/DieVersion-Victimized

Probably the most classic of all death metal bands to me. Hard-hitting, hardcore influenced, ball-bashing death. This album is where they were brought into fame. The band originated out of the dirty south of florida with a name that would fit a band from a hot-sweaty land. Jungle Rot is a brutal name for a brutal band. Their vocal themes are based off the vietnam war, gore, slaughter, and death. If i had to chose between the albums, i would say this album would come in a close 3rd from fueled by hate. It is still worth the listen for anyone who loves hardcore influenced death metal or thrash metal. Reccommended to fans of: Carnivore, Slayer, Death, Dismember, Nihilist, Entombed, Carbonized, etc. Overall Rating: 7/10 The most annoying album i have ever heard, but for some reason i can't stand not liking it. I picked up the CD at some christian warehouse store for like 8$, so i bought it along with a Point of Recognition CD (another amazing hardcore outfit). I listened to the album and thought "WOW, most annoying vocalist on earth." But for some reason i couldn't put it down. I guess the vocals are the charm of the album. It's hard to grasp, but once you get a hold and a good listen to this abrasive hardcore punk album you won't want to stop listening to it. Reccommended for fans of: Point Of Recognition, Sex Pistols, and The Ramones. Overall Rating: 7.2/10 Avant-garde humorous death metal. This band is one of the rare ones not many people know about. They are christian death metal from south africa. What's funny is that the members make the band a white-german outfit. They later changed to groove metal (which i dont preferrably like) but this album still proves that they reign supreme in the south of africa. The funnest song to listen to is track 6 "Boesmanhand" which infuses humor-rock, death metal, thrash metal, and hardcore. I can't really reccomend them to people who listen to certain groups, but i think people who like the christian underground would appreciate this album. Overall Rating: 7/10
