Haste The Day-Burning Bridges\When Everything Falls

I found this band through a song on a dvd sampler i got with a norma jean CD 2 years ago. I fell in love with a song on the album below. This one took me a long time to get because i was lazy about getting it. I was stupid, because this is probably the best metalcore release. Jimmy Ryan's vocals are blaring black metal/grindcore vocals and it is infused with the right about of melody and chorus vocals. All the songs have amazing breakdowns and song breaks. The best song's are American Love and Blue 42, but this is another album where i can recognize every song and sing along. Overall Rating: 10/10
This album is the one i got because of the dvd sampler. The sampler had When Everything Falls. Probably the best song in metalcore history. Strong technical post hardcore/metalcore drumming with technical melodic death guitars and bass. Again those blaring vocals from Jimmy Ryan blast in and break down the joint. This was to me their lower point of their music (the lowest being their ep). The first album had catchier songs with better melodies and riffs, while this one really only had the first track, When Everything Falls, and Long Way Down. But if your an avid metalcore fan you will definitely want to have this in your collection. Overall Rating: 8.5/10
