Point of Recognition-Admiration of a Son/Emery-The Weak's End

A classic christian band that emerged late in the 90's into the hardcore scene. Taking elements from thrash metal and crossover they are considered metalcore. This album is probably their hardest hitting one, which any fan of the band has in their library. Probably the best (and first) of all their full-length releases. Strong brutal metalcore vocals in the vein of Zao. Drums and guitars taking death/thrash elements. And great recording quality. Overall Rating: 9.5/10
Probably one of my favorite albums i've grown up on. I found emery when i was 11 in pennsylvania. Got a compilation with Underoath, showbread, emery, etc.. Emery was obviously my favorite with Ponytail Parades. When i turned on this album the first time with "Walls", it blasts in screaming "Are You Listening?!". This resounds strongly through the album, keeping your attention the whole album. This post hardcore band with screamo influence is great recording quality given the fact this was their 2nd release and their first full length. The best of their 3 full lengths by far.
